This thread made me think of something DH said to me once. We were talking about gardening at the time, and my tendency to use botanical names for plants instead of common names. My goal was accuracy in plant ID since I was a Master Gardener at the time. Some people thought I was just showing off that I knew those things and others eyes just glazed over when I talked about why it was important. So I was expressing my frustration to DH one day and he said, "I know honey, and I'm sure it must be very interesting to anyone who happens to be interested in it."
LOL
So I, too, am grateful for this board full of people who happen to be interested in what I am interested in talking about!!!

This board is soooo much more fun and waaay more interesting than Facebook. It's "comfortable" here in the quilterhood. We know each other even if we've never met.

My husband just left on a 500 mile (one way) trip. I am alone with my two airedales. I plan on doing a lot of quilting this weekend and NO cleaning. See y'all later.

Have fun.....my husband works a weird shift, and this is his 3 day weekend home. But he just bought a couple golf clubs, so he's in heaven and will leave me alone. LOL

Some days I just have to say,I need my space for sewing then they leave me alone for awhile. I like the freedom with just my sewing and me.
