It's raining too much in Iowa too. We have had flooding and crops washed away. Business and homes are underwater. What a mess! Last year, we had a drought. It's been from one extreme to another.

I so agree...
I have a crop of mushrooms in my lawn that I have to find before the dog does, every time I let her out....I am so tired of all this rain. We had 5" yesterday...and lost the gazebo in the yard. The metal caved in from the weight of the water that couldn't run out the weep holes fast enough.

I'm in the Twin Cities and it's just rain, wet and I feel like a moldy pile of mush. Don't get me going on the humidity. I don't remember it being this humid growing up but then I lived a block from a pool and spent 9 hours a day in the water. It's one of those years we will talk about for years. Our power was out but it wasn't even raining or blowing, just went out.
This too will pass.

Tons of rain here in New Hampshire. Usually we see this in April. So it is a couple months late. For probably a couple weeks we have had pouring rain everyday. We have had some high temps and thunder/lightning storms for several days. If I didn't know better, I would think I was in Florida in the summer.

Send it our way!! We're in mandatory watering until September!! And the last two days (and the next few, as well) are 100+ temps!! Hot-hotter-hottest!!!! At least it's not as bad as last year... we were toast by this time last year!

Rain here too for right now. We're 11+ inches ahead of our usual rainfall amounts. Wish Texas could get some and end their drought!

Raining again now...has been hot and humid. Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler, but still rainy. I know a lot of farmers didn't get to do all their planting this year because of all the rain. We have been spared the wind, but did have hail...twice in one day last week.

CoventryUK...I love your Singer sewing machine plant stand!!!!! What a great idea! I have a sewing machine stand in my garage...was maybe going to make a table but with downsizing was maybe going to sell...may have to rethink that if I end up going to somewhere I can decorate outside with it!
