I turned 76 in September, with no gray hairs (that is,
as long as I can get pretty hair dye in the stores, and now I volunteer with our local blood bank, going to different places and doing a fairly strenuous job. And when I'm home, I can quilt till 3 in the morning, (I'm a widow) read till I want to go to bed, and still get up ready for whatever the day brings. Live life when you have it. Who cares how old you are? When asked, I tell it all. I may even tell the truth!! |
67 in June and love my silver hair.

i think the beach boys wrote a song about us..
'the little old lady from pasadena (go lady, go lady, go lady, go') |
We have a great commercial in CA for one of the HMOs (Kaiser). It shows various seasoned ladies having a blast doing whatever they are doing (dancing, golfing, etc) and the song plays "When I grow up I wanna be an old woman."
