I apologize I haven't read through all the posts, but my GK's often call us Gramp and Gram, which is great. But the 2 year old has been calling DH Damp and you know what that makes me...Dam

Nana, Nonie, Meema, ...
And what's wrong with Grandma Lori, or Granny Lori? This child is lucky to have several Grandmas! |

I'm sorry I don't have time to read all the answers you've received, but I would ask him what he thinks the child should call you. My sister is "Gigi" and I think that's a very sweet name. I hope that all works out, try to trust that it's not about you, but just that when one has 2 parents already, it complicates things.

My ex-huband's wife wants our grandson to call her Aunt Lori. Our daughter said he can call her anything he wants but NOT aunt. She told her it would be too confusing for the little guy. He calls my husband PaPa but calls me mama. I want to be called gammy.
