In a garden in Cornwall UK it's grown in pots as an unusual exotic!

LOL Pam - ain't that the truth! If only I could bring myself to like dandelions and nettles, I'd LOVE my garden!

 It is all over the yard! It comes up every year along the porch and also out into the yard. Sometimes I have been transplanting back to the lattice. This year it has come up out beside my little kettle that has another flower and my Hen and Chickens in it.

My luck!

Your clematis looks like a Jackmani clematis that I have.

I am not sure of the name of it---got it at Wally World years ago. Looked it up and it looks like it!!! :D

I thought it was jackmannii.

Re sending the weed - you could try sending some roots wrapped in damp paper and a plastic bag, in winter when it's dormant. Might work! I had someone once send me some comfrey root like that - now I've got a clump about a yard across!

I'd love a plant, any way you could find out the shipping cost to texas? That is so geogeous. I couldn't read the French site but do know I would love the plant. Will it grow from seeds?
Thanks,
gangles
