I've started reading the King books I had missed. I have read Holly, which I think was the most recent release. Also the book of stories, You Like it Darker.

I really enjoyed Fairy Tale, or most of it :) It reminded me quite a bit of the Talisman in many ways. Speaking of which I see Netflix is going to make a series of that (Talisman) with some of the same folks from Stranger Things.

My next book is going to be James. It's received rave reviews and awards. My DIL loved it and she and I like the same books. I get a lot of recommendations from her. I also share the same interests as my brother so I'm mostly up to date on what's out there.
I just got SK's stories that was mentioned above but I haven't started yet.

I checked and Never Flinch isn't available yet for me to put on hold. It's sort of fun that I'll put stuff on the list 6 months ago and then it pops up as available. It's usually feast or famine but sometimes the timing is just right.

I too love this thread and have read many of the books suggested. I am currently reading the Longmire series, waiting on book 10 so still have a ways to go in that series. I have found that I can go back and re-read some of the books from years ago, and they read like "brand new". The thing about Kindle is your books are always there, no matter how long ago you purchased them. So while waiting for a hold from the library, I look back on my list and start one of those. Currently reading Rich Man, Poor Man by Irvin Shaw originally published in 2013 (I think) and know I read it then but have no recollection of the story details. It seems like a new book to me now.
Recently finished Comfort and Joy by Kristan Hannah, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, both very good and 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid (a bit racy in parts) about a Hollywood movie star's life and loves. I kept thinking Elizabeth Taylor and her life and numerous husbands.

On a side note, Ice Blossom, my doctor recommended I start taking magnesium glysinate and my insomnia has improved significantly. Haven't had a 2-3 hour sleepless night in about 3 weeks and am currently averaging 6 hours per night. A great improvement for me. She said it might help and so far it has. Can only Hope it continues.

Re: 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo- I didn't think I was going to like it but I ended up liking it a great deal. It had more depth than I thought it would.
Anything by Joyce Maynard. I adore her writing.
