Did I hear you correctly?

My friend and I were eating at McDonalds one day and I ordered a bacon cheese burger. When it came it did not have bacon. So I took it back and explained the problem. The clerk asked "Oh, did you want bacon on your bacon cheese burger?"

My friend asked for packets of creamer when she got a cup of coffee and a different clerk said "Did you want it for your coffee?" She was very quick witted and replied "No for my fries, I put ketchup in my coffee." The clerk replied "One or two?"

Are we not making ourselves clear or has this happened to anyone else?

It's time for them to put on their "listening ears"!

While traveling I stopped for coffee. I asked for a coffee, black. The counter person asked if I wanted it with cream and sugar. I was so stunned, I just smiled and said "No" shaking my head.

I have noticed that I can't give all the information at fast food places...especially a drive through. If I say I want a #2 with fries and coke...they say...what kind of drink would you like with that? The worst is the kids meals they HAVE to ask their questions and they punch in my answer one at a time....they are not programed for more than one thing at a time. It is not you!!!

What I hate, particularly in the drive through is when they interrupt you while you are giving your order, and then cut you off with the first meal, like you are the only person in the car. We have left a McDonald's drive through for that reason...and gone to Burger King because the person taking the order couldn't stop talking long enough to hear our order.

People aren't listening. They seem to be programmed to ask certain questions and that is what they do. My 7th graders really struggle with listening. They ask the exact question that I just answered. They turn in papers in the wrong place, when I just told them where, etc. I think I can go on and on.

I went to the drive through bank today and asked for my $200 in cash to be in 10's and 20's. I got $100 back in 50's and the other $100 in 20's. I sent back the 50's and ask for them in 10's. She wasn't happy and asked me twice if I wanted the whole $100 in 10's. I thought I was going crazy there for a minute.

I've learned the "order" that my local BK want's to hear me say in. I can't order a #4 with cheese extra pickle no onion and a diet coke. I have to order #4, medium size, diet coke, add cheese, heavy pickle and no onion.

part of the problem is the registers they use - the registers ask them the questions in a specific order and they can't bypass question 1 to get to question 2 or 3 - just because the customer blurted out question 2 or 3 before question 1.

In an attempt to make their systems fool proof, they've created fools.

they have so much noise going on there that they are probably deaf!!

I went through a McDonald's drive through the other day and a gal was out by the menu taking orders because their intercom system had broken down. After taking my order she asked if that was "for here or to go". Got my laugh for the day!

White or chocolate milk?

I was at a sit down restaurant and ordered white milk. The waitress asked "what is white milk?". I was so surprised that I said "there is chocoate milk and white milk and I don't want chocolate". We never saw that waitress again the entire meal. I think she was a little embarrassed. I was a little embarrassed, too because I'm not that outspoken normally.
