A head of cabbage 1 lb ground pork 1 lb ground turkey meat 1 cup rice favorite seasonings (I use Mrs. Dash (garlic and herb), creole seasoning and garlic powder. 4 or 5 8 oz. cans of Contidina tomato sauce. mix the pork, turkey and rice along with the seasonings in a bowl. Take the core out of the cabbage and place in a bowl with a little water in the microwave for about 10 minutes or so. This softens the cabbage leaves up a bit to work with. Arrange the rolls in a pan, I normally use a lasagna pan. Pour the tomato sauce over the rolls, sprinkle on some seasonings, place in a 350 degree oven for about 2 hours. Check about every half hour and add sauce as needed. |

I never cared for meatloaf until I tried Paula Deane's recipe. Wonderful and the top is some kind of good. If anyone is interested I can post the recipe here.
