I have some bananas that I probably won't eat - so a good idea for me. I have them because last weekend I was in ICU with a partial blockage of the small intestines and now I'm really careful what I eat - and have lived on bananas this week---

I do this also, but I mash the bananas with my hands before freezing, so they are ready to cook with. Also, try mashed bananas in oatmeal, yummy!

i don't even peel them.. just toss them in the freezer.. usually winds up being the last one in the fruit bowl that no one will eat...

when i have enough for bread (and feel like baking some) i just take the bananas from the freezer, let them defrost in a bowl.. cut the ends off.. the fruit slides right out...

you don't even have to peel them; I just stick them straight in the freezer
