LOL You and yours are in my prayers.

Funny you should mention that! LOL A friend was having trouble with her mother-in-law always popping in unannounced. I suggested next time they saw her car pull into the drive, her and hubby rip all their clothes off and start going for it on the dining room table (the front door opens into the dining room). I was willing to bet that not only would MIL stop coming round unannounced, but that she'd give at least two weeks warning, in writing, from then on! lol

Sadly, they've never been game enough to try!

LMAO! I will have to tell that to my husband. We are currently living with his mother while trying to finish our house. SHE HAS NO BOUNDRIES!!http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-angry026.gif

You'll have to let us know how it works... I'm convinced it will be a HUGE success! PMSL

Blue: Did post an answer but do not know where it went so .....
I will let you all know how it works. I am sure she will either STOP, Drop or take notes. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/s...aughing018.gif

I'd be worried if she took notes... I don't perform well under pressure! ;-)

Blue:
Well this was fun and you sound better already. Glad we can laugh at some of the sillier things in life. Glad you are back sewing.
By the way, I would not work well under that kind of pressure either. LOL

As long as you keep your needles and pins contained, you should keep the pricks to a minimum. ROFL.

Makes my eyes water just THINKING about it! There's some places you just shouldn't get pricked. *gulp*

Hi Blue Chicken. I must have the same bug ? that you have. Cannot get motivated at all . Have several WIPs but have lost "gusto" Maybe we could put it down to a wet winter? My usual way is to do some other craft, but that isn't even working this time. Did dust off my spinning wheel and have decorated a couple of cakes for friends, did some more genealogy, tried knitting socks but even that has stalled !. Oh woe is me !
 :(

You poor thing! You have had so much to deal with! What a relief for you that your son was OK. My son gave me the most awful fright some years ago and it look me weeks to get up and going again. Dont feel guilty about the sewing! Have a little trip to your local store, check out the fabrics, look at the books, go home and do something small. How about starting one of the Baltimore Quilt blocks? You need only cut out little bits of material at a time, maybe simply pin them on till you're feeling happier.
Let us all know how you are getting on!
