Jacquie, that is so weird. Here in Ohio there are no helmet laws and I've seen the results in the trauma unit I worked in :(

My mom bought a brand new car in 1974..a Datsun (now Nissan). She paid $2495.00 for it, and felt guilty about it for years, feeling that she'd spent a fortune. She was making good wages as a registered nurse at Aspen Valley Hospital...made a whopping $7.00 per hour as a supervisor!
