I know the feeling. I grew up in the Chicago area, but I don't miss the weather (have lived out West for 40 years now). I prefer being able to visit the snow (mountain areas).
Spring will come soon. :) |
I live in the Staffordshire moorlands and we have a snow warning out on our first day of spring. It has been snowing off and on all week . Oh well next week I should be going to a textile talk at Chatsworth House. Last time I had booked to go for a parlour maid talk it snowed I hope it goes rapidly and not spoil another day.

I'm with you! I may be in Arizona right now, but I'm returning to Connecticut in a few weeks, and it better be Spring by then!

Oh, thanks for the pic. And the eloquent text that accompanied it. Gave me a chuckle. DH pulled his back out shoveling on Tuesday. I'm ready too!

It is 2:30 in the morning and the dog needed to do his thing. I could not believe it when I went out side and there was an inch of snow on the ground and more coming down......I know it is the great north west, but come on...no snow all winter and the first day of spring it snows.....

Love your sense of humor. Sounds like you would be a fun quilting partner.
Enjoy your snow for another day. Here in Michigan when it snows again...I just keep thinking that it is adding to the levels of the Great Lakes. The lake levels are down so much that we don't know if we will be able to launch our sailboat...so I am not saying a bad word about the snow. Just keep it coming and keep those lakes rising. |
lol, I've enjoyed your photo so much and the comment. We don't see much snow here in New Orleans, La, but I pray for winter when the heat index is 115 in August. So hot sometimes with the humidity, you feel you need another shower after walking to your car. Happy Quilting,

The picture is great! In a few weeks you can check the weather in Houston, TX and gloat about what lovely weather you'll be having then!

Arggg, it is the 25th of March, Ga., and it is snowing!!!! Am so sick of winter, this year we had a real one. Moved 642 miles south of Mi. and still have to endure winter. OK, now that I'm finished whining I feel better. A day in the quilt room will make me feel better. Some chocolate too.

I hear you. Winter has hung on long enough in NH!
