No green beans in my garden either. Only thing we have is okra! Too hot for tomatoes.

Maybe Peter Rabbit is sneaking in and having lunch on your beans!!

we had a great year with our tomatoes but cucumbers, zuchinni and beans were very low yield.

I think the middle number is the blossom number. The last number is the fruit number. If you have a question, look on the lable of orchid food, the middle number is high. I too heard that the honey bee population is in jeapordy.

May be a regional problem. So far this year we have been so blessed that I have taken over 250 pounds of produce to the local food bank. Next year I will plant a much smaller garden. Right now the fridge is full of melon, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I pulled all the green beans out because we had so many I couldn't keep up with picking them. Wish I could send some to you folks having problems. Ann in TN

My beans have done well enough this year, but have heard several people say they aren't getting any. Now, I am waiting for the peaches on our four trees! One year, I canned 60 qts off of one tree! And we have too many this year, too.

This has been the worst ever year for my vegetable garden. Very low yield on everything. Couldn't even get my summer squash to grow. (And no beans!) Very disappointing. :(

I know my husband planted 3 rows of beans and
all we got was one mess of beans to eat!!!

I have plenty of everything else but no beans and my vines are very very short. Really wanted to can

I am having the same problem.....and never thought about pollination, silly me. I will bet that is what is going on.

I have a second garden in a church community garden, and planted zuchinni and it seemed a little slow also, but everyone else seems to be getting lots of beans there. We didnt plant any in that garden, so that doesnt help. Ah well, I actually BOUGHT some from the farmers market....gotta help those people too.
