here in ohio it's the same , i've only gathered enough beans to do 12 quarts , now our cucumbers , another story way , way to many i've given and easy 200 away , of course i planted pickling cuc.'s, but the corn looks like its doing ok, and my hot peppers not so good either , tomato's are very slow coming in , only 5 quarts of juice so far. good luck , patty

those peach trees are awesome!! I love peaches but here in Maine it it too cold in the winter for fruit buds to survive. Mmmm Fresh peaches from the tree

I don't have any zucchini. With 2 plants I thought that I would be giving it away....nothing but blossoms. We do have bees around....see them all of the time on my flowers.
Go figure!

Our garden and orchard did very poorly this year..

NO green beans- not a ONE
Arkansas black apples are doing well
Late pear tree is doin ok if the all the deer dont get to them first
We lost ALL our cherries to the wildlife- we were gone that week to pick them- bummer..
Peaches struggled but still pretty young not quite established yet..
Grapes dried up..
our blackberries were pathetic- last year I had bushel fulls
Zucchini did ok.. I dont like them anyhow so no loss for me there.
I have yet to see a green pepper or any peppers for that matter..
Garlic was a flop
a doz of cucumbers
and only a bushel of tomatoes from 15 vines!!!!

We watered regularly- sprinkler set on a timer to water the whole area..

I do believe hubby will have a bee hive next year- hes been wanting one for years now.. Guess I cant argue now..

Our garden is sad this year. The green peppers got bacterial spot, I've only seen one tiny tomato. And most of my green beans didn't even germinate and I haven't even seen flowers on the pole beans. We have had some zucchini though.

yea, we have no green beans either, but it is because rabbits ate the plants when they were just sprouting up. We didn't resow because of the heat.

I wonder if they would flower better with some Epsom salts on them, I use this in with regular plant food to make my african violets bloom.
