ROFLOL! That is funny. I do own a dress - just haven't worn it. I always tell friends to feel free to drop in as long as they don't care if the house is dirty or I am! If i couldn't sew in my pj's or "comfortable" clothes, I'd never get anything done. Do you think the sewing machine really notices if we don't dress up and comb our hair? LOL!

hehehe...that is great....just goes to show you how far we have really let ourselves go! Of course one only has to run to the grocery in the middle of the day to see that....around here pj bottoms, dirty tee shirts, flip flops and NO bra are considered dressing up!

Oh, my, they would haul me off to the looney bin if I had to do all that before sewing! I'm doing good to comb my hair and brush my teeth. One day, a friend called to come by and pick up a pattern. I had 3 sewing machines set up in my LR, fabric everywhere and was still in my jammies (I HAD put on a bra! HeHe). It was very cold that day and my jammies were just too warm and comfortable. When my friend arrived, she said "oh, wish I had worn my jammies, too"!! We both just cracked up laughing.
I'll confess: I spend most days at home in my jammies. In summer, I have these cute zip front swing dresses/robes that I wear. My 6yo grandson asked me why I wore my jammies all day!!!! I just don't have the figure for those cute little jogging/yoga pants/tees that all the young mothers wear! |
