The women may seem normal. They definitely put on faces for the show. I have watched a couple of episodes. What I saw was very disturbing. None of the wives looked happy when they were together. The Sister Wives admitted to being jealous when relationships and time the husband spent with the others. I couldn't imagine experiencing feelings of jealousy on a daily basis because someone else is kissing or sleeping with my husband. No one was happy about adding a new wife, but it still happened. Its ovious who has the power in those relationships. The Sister Wives are being dominated by their husband. These women obviously have low self esteem. Having to wait your turn to share a bed with your husband is absurd. I pray for the children who are living with the choices their mothers made. I wonder what the mothers would say if their daughters decided to be a sister wife.

YES! Sometimes it sounds good, but then I remember that I don't play well with others. But the show is somthing else.

I do watch it and just for fun, am a Mormon--LDS and do not believe in this type marriage. The gals never seem to look happy. Have been LDS for 6 years.

This famly is considered Fundamentalist Mormans not LDS. We do not belive in this type of marriage.

I'm too jealous and possessive of my hubby to share with anyone. If the guy is married to only one woman legally I can't see what the government could do to that couple for having some form of open-type marriage. Things may get shaky if the "sisters" are receiving benefits for the kids and not listing the father of those kids or they are doing something shady with taxes. I can't think of anything else the government could legally be interested in.

I agree. It doesn't make sense to me. If a man needs more than me she can have him.

If they can put one man on the moon - how about they make it this one?
I read The Nineteenth Wife last year - fascinating.
We have had similar cases down here, and the men were such horrid specimens - I just don't understand that part of it.

Have you ever noticed when he comes home from work, just walks by everyone like they are his sisters; and ignoring the kids for the most part. no I stopped watching the show because they all need to GROW UP!
