Try putting (bathing) soap bars under the sheets. Several. Unwrap them, spread them out so the legs will be near them as you move around in your sleep. You can chunk the bars into 1/4ths or use the bar whole. Doesn't matter what brand but the white soaps seem to work better than others. Many who have tried it for restless leg syndrome know when their soaps have been removed. /Regards, Dorothy
( I am on edit now). I do support a trip to the doctor, might the diverticulosis have any bearing on the symptoms? Doctor has his history and might see something Hubby has forgotten about. /Regards, Dorothy |
This may sound funny, but a salad. Lettuce has something in it, can't remember the name of it now (maybe its melatonin (sp)), that assist in sleeping. Also, you might try some decaf. tea like peppermint, ginger, etc. They have some for nighty night.

How about a different bedroom until he calms down? Maybe that'll give him an added incentive to see the doc.

Hey Marsye, how about a big turkey dinner before bed, the tripafone (sp) in turkey makes me sleep!
|
Just start off in that room, too.
