I have RLS and take horsechestnut for it. I buy mine at WalMart under the name of Venastat. Works great for me, but I am not on any prescription meds. If he isn't you might want to give it a try. RLS symptoms though are just a restless feeling in your legs that you feel you need to move them. He may have a B vitamin deficiency, that can lead to depression, etc. I ran out of mine once and fell into a miserable depression, cleared up in a matter of hours after getting back on my vitamins. He can go to a good health food store and get "muscle tested" for supplements he might need.

I had a problem with restless leg syndrome and it's impossible to sleep. Have him go to the Dr and see what they can do.

I am with the others. Hubby needs to see his Doctor. It's better to know and get help for the problem, or at least find out it is not anything to worry about. Knowing is better.

If he has had a new prescription or had a change in meds it could be related. He may need a sleep study done. I had one done because I was dizzy all of the time and all the CT scans and ENT docs tests came out OK. The last result was a sleep study and now I sleep with a CPAP machine and all those icky symptoms are gone. I was not aware how many different sleep disorders there are, there are several. I tried to treat it with margaritas, but that didn't work either...darn it.

If I don't take trazadone, I would never sleep, and sometimes I still don't sleep on it, they call mine a sleep disoreder. God bless. Penny
