I have to do that next time too, great idea. Everyone here LOVES meatloaf, and I hate the goopy hands thing too. I use saltine crackers and add salsa and onions.

I use a #40 cookie scoop to make my meatballs. drop onto cookie sheet to bake. remove to clean cookie sheet to freeze then into freezer bags.

That's a lot of meatloaf! I agree with you about the goopy part. I wear latex gloves for meatloaf making now and it's much better.

What a great idea. I need to do that too.

OK> Here's my favorite meatloaf recipe...
2# ground meat (or) 1# burger & 1# ground pork
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. ketchup or tomamto juice or 1 8oz tomato paste
1 Tablespoon minced onion or 1 dry pkg onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

LOVE this recipe & I used to hate meatloaf till I had this... YUM!

I don't like the goop either.

I mix mine in my large mixer with the dough hook on. It does a wonderful quick job on about 4.5 lbs of meat at a time.
