What an awesome DR. I have. Maybe I will make her a quilt for Christmas out of the material

She is refering to a Sari...it is traditional Indian woman's clothing...they are 6 yards(meters) long and usually beautiful fabrics. We have an area in town that you can go and get some beautiful Sari's fabric.

What a great doctor! I bet you will be ecstatic to get them!

When I had surgery a few years ago I had this young student dr who was very likable. He would chat about my family and other related things. I was working on some hand sewing one day when he came in and I put it away. He had me get it out and he looked at it and talked about his mom and sister who quilts. Quite a nice young man and I am sure a successful doctor today. You rarely find a doctor who is so easy going and comfortable to be around.

BTW my DH's Dr gave me a website for his aunt who has a quilt shop and an online fabric store!! I was flabbergasted! (shocked if you are unfamiliar with that expression!) LOL

I live near a Hindu temple, every week I see women wearing saris, I just love the colors and the prints they wear. If she isn't a Christian , I would offer the quilt for India national day or for a religious feast.
