My screen name came from two things......25 years or so ago I was very into Blue Ridge Pottery ... a no longer in business hand-painted china factory in Tennessee. Garage sales, flea markets, auctions, eBay.........
The second association is my GrandDad lived in Knoxville. We visited him a lot when I was growing up. Lots of scenic drives and rock hunting through the mountains. |
"Macy" was the name of a horse that I bought as a weanling- so "Macybaby" was her nickname.

I just want to say - Watson is beautiful! Strikingly beautiful!

Mine actually has 2 meanings. The obvious is that I am an avid reader. I read to learn, like this Quilting Board, to relax, deepen my faith, chill out and on and on. The second is that I spent 40 years in education and think that teaching children to learn and to love reading is one of the greatest gifts we can give to children.

My name is a bit deceptive to some. I've been addressed as Wes more than once. It actually just means we sing. My wife is an excellent singer and sings often at church, weddings, funerals, and other gatherings. I'm more of a hack, but I enjoy singing with her because she makes almost anyone sound good!

Sewn3w. I love to sew and since I am a Christian I am a new (n3w) person in Christ.

MaggieSue is my nickname, no other reason than that.

Mine is not very creative. My name is Susan but most of my family call me SusieQ and I live in OH. See, I told you it wasn't that creative! :D

I go by notwendy because in various locations, at various ages I’ve been mistakenly referred to as Wendy (my name is Kelly). Seriously it has happened at least 5+ times spanning decades and thousands of miles.
I must be some sort of Platonic solid of the idea of what a Wendy should resemble. : ) |
