aww, poor pup-pup...he did a no no, and out he is...but, he does have to learn.
It's funny, but the shape of the hole, looks like a dog to me
You do know that you can patch the hole, right? So all is not lost.
I would do like Jingleberry said and get him a crate for those time outs :XD:

The problem was not only did he do the big hole, but he tore an entire strip off of the right side, too. I cut it down and am patching in a whole new piece of batting that will butt up against the old batting. He's mostly an outdoor dog, but since he's so little, I've been having him indoors with me when I'm home. He's got a big pen and doghouse to himself outside when I'm gone. He still comes in (especially right before bed time - so he can stretch out on my lap and give me big puppy kisses) but I definitely keep my eye on him a lot more closely -- no fixing supper when he's inside.

let him back in. poor baby.
my dog didn't make holes in my batting by charging through it.
he ate it like cotton candy!!!
i'm quilting away at one end ... he was munching away at the other. quietly. half gone before i discovered it.

Remember those baby gates that we used to use??? Well, I use one when I'm layering a quilt so that I don't get this kind of help....Tink thinks that it's fun to run back and forth on the quilt while I trying to sandwich.

Gotta say how stinkin' adorable that little face is. Forgiveness is easy when they look like that. And when they are that little things like that will happen on accident.
Like kids, they eventually outgrow those tendencies but they also need to learn how to live in the human world.
