For those of you unfamiliar with Hobby Lobby:
They are based in Oklahoma City. Owned by the Green family. They are the family that bailed out Oral Roberts University, located in Tulsa, OK. They do a lot of philanthropy work. Right now, they have a display of bibles and other religious artwork that they have acquired over the past 2-3 years. Very Christian family. They are expanding their presence in the states.
Just FYI.

I love Hobby Lobby! They have a 40% off coupon every other week available on line. Starting before Christmas it is every week...they also have lots of 50% off each week. If I see something I want and don't have a coupon, I just wait a week or so and it either goes on sale or I get a coupon. You never have to pay full price! I got a cutting mat last week for $40..it is huge!..saw it at Joann's for $79.95..at Hobby Lobby for $59.95 -40%. It is just about my favorite store and I can spend a fun couple of hours there every week. Magazines and books are never on sale so if I need nothing else, I buy a book for 40% off...Just love it and am glad it is closed on Sunday..everyone needs a day off. If I lived closer I would like to work there and I am very happily retired!

I really like Hobby Lobby. For the most part, their fabric is a pretty good quality, although you do have to watch some. Those 40% off coupons are great. For some other craft items, they are a little more expensive. ENJOY!
One thing that DOES annoy me about HL is that they still use price tags and not scanners on their registers. This can delay the check out process as the clerk has to KNOW everything that is on sale. Yes, they do have a "cheat sheet" available. Can't believe in this day and age of technology, that they don't use what is available.

I've shopped at Hobby Lobby stores in Texas for many years...in several locations. They're great. They have every kind of hobby, craft, and art items you can imagine. Plus a lot of decor items for the home. Some of their fabric is very good quality. My favorite is to buy solid color Kona cotton with a 40% coupon, which is often available in the local newspaper. They consider 10 yards to be a single cut of fabric and 40% off that is a good deal. You'll enjoy shopping there.

hobby lobby sadly is NOTHING like a Michaels. It is smaller, has more Made in China stuff than a Chinese market place and less crafting stuff. I speak from experience as a Lead Sales for Michaels and being in OK where HL is based out of! Do sign up at their website to get the weekly flier emailed to you so you can have the coupon. I copy/paste it to word and print off 10 every week. Then what I don't use, I share at the store, makes for great customer sales!
