I have one slipper and sock on my left foot and just my sock on my right foot. My sewing room is in the basement and it is always cooler than upstairs.

I sew in my socks. I can't sew with a shoe on my pedal foot. I don't know why because I drive with the same foot and do that with shoes. Strange...

I gave up wearing heels a long (very long) time ago. In fact I probably fall over if I tried walking in them now. :)

I never thought of having to have shoes to sew it. It would be a good reason to go shoe shopping - to bad there are no shoe stores by quilting shops. Nope....I will stay a barefoot of socked sewer
