My avatar - Bella - was spayed on Wednesday. She spent the rest of that night in the bucket bed with me nearby. On Thursday morning, I was doing some non-regular laundry - dog quilts, rugs, etc. I had a load of what we call dog towels (old towels that we use for dog baths, wiping up spills, cars, etc.) in the list. When I had pulled the dog towels out of the dryer, I set the basket aside while I answered the phone. When I came back I noticed that Bella has burrowed her way in to the middle of the dog towels. I just did not have the heart to move her. The towels are still in the basket in the laundry room because she is still using them. I did notice that she was out of them earlier, so I put them back in the dryer to warm them up. When I went back in to take them out and fold them, Bella was sitting on the dryer. So I put them out in the basket again and she immediately jumped back in and burrowed. Oh well, I can get them folded and put away when she is feeling better. Sleep well Bella. Momma loves you.

They like that warm fabric. Mine gets in the dryer and gives me dirty looks as I pull the clothes out from under him.
