I should show that to my husband, lol. It makes me look so "good" by comparison.

Oh my gosh!! I can actually relate to a few of those! I have had to 'sort of' pack and move my sewing area because of work that needed to be done in the drop ceiling. I 'had' been thinking that my stash was getting a little low on some stuff--until I 're'discovered stuff that had been 'put away' in cupboards. Oh dear.

--and you know that the ideal piece for the present project is the bolt on the bottom! (Not worth pulling it out so go buy another?)

I didn't realize just how large my stash was until a king size quilt didn't make a dent. Oops.

MaryMo I was there! I followed my GPS to find a fabric store in Pennsylvania and ended up on a farm, and her hubby built his wife a building, next to the silos, which ended up a quilt store. They spoke German and I bought a lot of fabric.

That is too funny.

I looked at the other cartoons on that web page and the one that caught my eye was the one about the quilting retreat: sewing sweatshop with wine and cookies. It made me laugh because when I told my physical therapist that I wouldn't be seeing him until I came back from my quilting retreat, he asked what a quilting retreat was. I described it to him and he said, "You mean you all pay to go to a sewing sweatshop?" Funny, up till then, I had never thought of it that way. LOL
