We haven't had a drop of rain where i live in Parke County, IN in over 2 months. Same as last summer. I'm ready for this summer to be over.

We have had a lot of expectations of rain but only get a lot of wind, thunder, occasional lightening and maybe 5 minutes of rain and then it's over.

It's been hot and dry here but we do get an occasional 5, maybe 10 minutes of rain but I really feel for you all out there. Praying for rain for you.

We got caught in a shower at a Steam Threshing show which was very refreshing and got home to Covington to find we had had only a slight sprinkle. Glad for what we had but would like much more.

We had enough to almost cover the sidewalk awhile ago. It's all around us, but not here. Hubby is back watering the garden again. If he didn't do ;that, it would be dried up now. Instead, with his watering, I have 4 or 5 buckets of tomatoes waiting for me to can tomorrow. I've already canned nearly 100 quarts of juice, whole, pizza sauce, salsa, etc. No quilting for me until frost.

Received over 3" in two days in Independence, MO. Would love to send it to Texas, but I'm not God. I will pray instead.
