I may not have had your email address at the time I sent
    out the list.

But I did just sent it to you. Your info is not listed on the
one I sent to you but it WILL be on the next list I send out.

    Sorry for the delay.

I have asked a couple of times if you have sent the RAK list out yet. I haven't heard from you on either. I could be sending RAK's if I had addresses ;o)

I did receive one from Krystna last week, a beautiful embroidered t-shirt & some jelly. Was a very nice gift.

I am here with all the fires burning in NM and CO the smoke
is horrendous and with my newly developed allergies well the
smoke is doing a number on my sinuses.

I woke up today and just could not breath because my sinuses
were clogged, not counting the cold from last week wasn't helping
    things much either.

So this day is proving to be a "slow" moving day for me, and I have
to get my shower SOON as my hubs is taking 1/2 day off from work
to take me to a late lunch / early dinner and than we are watching
my favorite movies (its a tradition he has done for years with me).

THANK YOU ALL for the birthday wishes.

I know I did not get pictures posted yet of my wonderful cards and
gifts but I will I promise.

Ok friends here is what I received yesterday in the mail. There was
11 things in the mail box and everyone of them was for me! 1 package,
3 cards, 1 F&P magazine, 2 catalogs and 4 pieces of junk mail all with
MY name (nothing addressed to "resident" or anything like that).
Poor Tim felt left out LOL.

So here are the pictures of my awesome goodies that I got.

    First picture cards:
Gail (sweetwaterquilter) sent the card with the rose and a FQ
Sheila (sheila-in-erie) sent me a homemade card that has pretty flowers.

    Second picture more cards from:
Rosemary (Ladybug 1938) Keep notice of this card would almost think
that K & Rosemary talked to each other about the cards they are sending.
Teresa (MsCupid804) sent me the "denture" card hubs got a kick out that card.

Last group of pictures are from K. hubs is still trying to get my
jam away from me to try; I told him to keep his grubby paws off
until I open the jar. He reminds me that I can't "have" it LOL oh
    yeah watch me!!

The t-shirt has embroidery on it that says: "It's NOT about AGE, It's about ATTITUDE"
    The scarf she made
The rest of the awesome goodies, such as the angel confetti, candy, jam, pincushion
and the card (remember LOOK at the cards that K and Rosemary sent to me so much a like).

Now HERE is what I got from hubs!!!

On the left is the card that was enclosed with the spa gift
card that hubs got me. Can you say Spa facial here I come!!!?
    LOL

Every year for birthdays, anniversary & Valentine's we get each other
3 cards. It started about 10 yrs ago when he narrowed down the list
to the top 3 cards to get me and then got stumped, so he bought them
all and gave them to me.
That has become a "family" tradition now that we do for each other, and
the girls. Other family members only get one card (yeah I know they don't
    "rate" as high).

Great cards and gifts, Louise! Hope you're enjoying your day! I just saw the Colorado fire on television. Yikes! Hope it's not nearby. Prayers for those affected.

I had Doctor appt this AM, yearly checkup and for someone 74 guess I am in pretty good shape... Dispite all the aches and pains...

After I got home tackled the internet and tried changing my password as my acct was hacked into last night sometime... and if you received a message I am really sorry... Took me nearly two hours on the phone to get a tech to reset the password and then let me change mine... That's all I need to do but couldn't get into the internet... All taken care of now,, but when he asked if there was anything else he could do for me told him, " Yes, ou can get me two Tylenol" he laughed so hard and said MR M. you made my day...Ate lunch and took an hours nap... LOL

Ladybug, I love your response. My response usually is "I would like thin thighs!" Get the nastiest looks sometimes, but...

Louise, I hope your birthday was wonderful. I think the idea of 3 cards is great. I might have to do that starting with our DD.

Louise, can you email the RAK list again. When we were in CA, I went on line to get emails, saw it was there, but they don't transfer to my home unit. DAH - do I know what to do - NO. So if you could resend I would be greatful.

    Thanks loads.

Many thanks to painiacs (Patti) for the lovely coasters -- love the colors and was just the pick me up I needed. Been a tough week...BIL diagnosed with brain tumor and possible lung, too...and good friend lost her mother. Thanks so much, Patti.

well i had a telephone interview with a company in az today. it went well from my point of view. i am a most perfect fit. if i get a callback tomorrow for further interviewing then i will know it went well for them also.

oh to relo to the southwest where everything is brown and not green and there is no real winter (translated into snow). well if i have the opportunity to go there, it's a good thing i like to fly. i can always fly somewhere to experience the season changes.

Hav~if you're anything like me, once you get the warmth, you won't want to go back hahah...born and raised in the northeast and went to college there too...went to Florida after college and don't ever want the cold again....which I am unfortunately getting here in the Dallas area....this past winter wasn't too bad but the previous few have been soooo cold and snow and ice, etc...can't STAND it!!!! Give me the warmth!!!

Thank you Krystyna! I made it to the Post Office today and found a wonderful surprise. Krystyna sent me an envelope STUFFED with scraps. I just got a new pattern for a scrap quilt using 5" blocks so this will help a lot. There are even some bright prints and batiks - my favorites. Thanks again.
