I subscribe to a newsletter that emails me at least once a day if not several times called free kindle books. Their website is
ereaderiq.com. The newsletter comes from this address , [email protected]
I have more free books for kindle than I'll be able to read in several lifetimes, about as many as I have quilting UFO's :-)
enjoy!

The Debbie Maccomber 'Blossom St' Series is great...
Marie Bostwick...great quilting series
This website is great to check out authors and see what
books are soon to be released...it will search out 'similar' authors too.

I love Jennifer Crusie for a good light read--perfect beach read, not so sure about a hospital tho. There is also a knitting club series around. I remember reading one and enjoying it, but cannot remember the author.
Thanks for this thread--have noted a few authors I will check out.

I've just finished Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M Auel. I truly enjoyed every page of it. I've ordered the next two books in the series. Now I'm reading my favorite male author, John Grisham. Then it will be V is for Vendetta by Sue Grafton.

Depends on what you like to read I love Tess Gerritsen she writes medical/murder mysteries out of 8 books so far I haven't gotten the suspect right yet (good thing I'm not a cop). The other's I like are James Patterson, Brad Thor & Vince Flynn (Brad & Vince - anti terrorism authors), Laurell Hamilton (vampire series), Robin Cook, Kathy Reich, Clive Cussler

I have a kindle on my I-pad but don't use it because I don't want to buy the books. I did buy one book but what
do I do with it once I read it? My questions is do you get free books to put on your kindle and if so, where or how
I am such a novice at the computer or I-pad or anything new. Thanks for any suggestions or instructions.

You can get the free Overdrive app from the itunes store and then get free books from your library. They expire so when you are done they go away (sometimes you have to delete them, but they give you a prompt). You can even get audiobooks.

I just finished Them Imortal life of Harriet Larks by Rebecca Skloot. It is about her cells and medical research on how we have medical break through from the Salk vaccine to cancer very easy read.
Also on the 3rd book from Adeline Yen Mah 1st The Chinese Cinderella 2 -Falling Leaves 3-Watching the Tree. Very interesting books I bought them on Alabris for .99 each.
