READ in case we lose power during this storm:
#21
The only time we lost power was the October nor'easter in 2011. When I saw the recommendation to go out to the camper I first thought we should have done that, then remembered we were getting back to MA. From bringing our fifth wheel down to Florida because we were moving there permanently, oh well we survived.

Ugh, we've had about 10-11 inches in the last 24 hrs -- still have power but it's flickering. However, the satellite dish is full of snow and too high to reach, so I'm looking for the spot I stuffed the radio so I can plug it in! Not looking forward to the cold that's sneaking in behind this storm but I heard that by the weekend the temps may be in the 20's -- sure beats 16 below. When did you say Spring starts?

Well I guess that won't work for me. My dish is three stories up on my roof. Wonder if it would work under the bowl of my bird bath?? It would be out of the weather and not get wet....uhm that is a thought. May have to look into that further. Thanks

They make bird bath heaters.
Kinda pricey on Amazon, but with a little searching you may find a better price.
