The brand coffee I use has them and OMG are you right that they are annoying! Fortunately I can (and do) slice through those and then rip them off.

I have arthritic in my hands (no pain, just weak) and those ring top and pull tabs on everything like dog food and soda. They are fine, except very difficult for people like me. Besides shredding finger nails! Other than using a pair of needle nose pliers, is there a gadget? I often run the cans through my electric can opener which usually works, but I'm sure there is a gadget! Millions would be delighted if you can help!
For metal pull tabs, the devices pictured in Jan's post are the way to go. Try Starcrest of California for more choices, really reasonably priced with free shipping. I've been buying from them for at least 50 years. (Seems like it. Have they been in business that long?)
I just searched for Starcrest of California and found this site:
www.starcrest.com
Their tab puller is $4.00, and if you order $20.00 worth of anything, shipping is free.
I am not associated with the company, but have been happy with their merchandise. They have stuff I could not find elsewhere.

It's those itty-bitty ones on tubes that really annoy me.
You can't slice them. You can't grab them. Ridiculous!
There's got to be a better way!!!!
