oh my, did you leave it so you can see the spider, it will come back after dark, I had a spider web in the bathroom window one year and at night I will stand and watch it, was fun

also one at the kitchen window. it was fascinating to watch them, the spider would take down the spider web and rebuild it daily,

I had one of these orb spiders visit me last year. Every night she would rebuild her web. I enjoyed watching! She didn't want me--just my bugs! Hope you can see the creature that built your web!! That's impressive!

Impressive???? Well, I have a phrase for that....LOL I HATE spiders!!! Granddaughter and I went out and looked and it's not there....ODD!!! Maybe the dampness caused it to collapse! And NO I am NOT going out after dark to see if it's there!!!! GET REAL!!!!!!  I don't go out after dark.....there have been reports of BIG FOOT in this area!!!! oh yeah, and BEARS! There's a mother bear and her cub roaming our neighborhood last week!!!!

Probably a European cross spider. We have them here in WA as well. They eat mosquitos so I love them! The web probably just looked bigger because of the dew stuck to it. All the babies are getting mature now, so expect to see more.

I would have had an accident in my pants. That would be a nightmare for me. I would have had my DH grab the pressure washer and spray everything down for 1/2 mile! The web may be gone the spider isn't!!!
