Our fur babies are part of our families and we mourn them too. I'm so sorry about your loss. Quilting does keep our minds busy and helps ease the pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dennise, I'm so sorry about your Boots; losing a precious four-pawed family member is very painful. Sending you big hugz and a willing shoulder anytime.

I am so sorry for your loss. Have you gone to Felinedrive.com? they have some great patterns and maybe you can make a tribute quilt or wall hanging of a kitty like the one you lost? I made a calico kitty for my friend who lost hers and she loves the gentle reminder. They have some very easy fusible applique quilt blocks and quilts of just about every single type of cat out there. My 19 yr old is sitting on my lap right now with his paws on my shoulder irked I am typing not petting. Big baby.

good morning dkabasketlady! It's been just a little bit of time for us both, and hoping each day gets easier for us both.
I am starting to focus on all the happy times with my baby.
I still tear up though, and will just go with it as often as i have to. They deserve to be missed, they gave us so much love. big hugs, hope today is a lovely one for you, mousie

My heart goes out to you. I hope you have loads of photographs help you remember the wonderful years.

Jim and I lost Lieber (that's him on the left) before I had this wonderful group to cry with. We have no children and they can be like kids.
