My right shoulder has been bothering me for about a month now. But not from quilting or anything quilting related.

    I have been lugging around 1"x10" x 16', 1" x12" x 16' boards just for fun.

Seriously it a project that isn't finished yet, so no pictures!!

I hear that Chasing Hawk. We are building container beds and our boards are 2x10"x 8' plus all the screwing, carrying, placement, etc.

You may want to see the Dr. sooner than you are thinking. Not to scare you, but most women wait too lng to see Dr. when having heart problems which for us mimicks other pain. Shoulder pain is one of the most frequent complaints.

Knitting and x-stitch can put a strain on your shoulders if you tend to 'lift' your shoulders while stitching. Maybe you
    really should just rest.

I have tendinitis in my right shoulder, right elbow and my right pinkie finger folds down and won't straighten out. I have to get cortisone shots in each spot every three months or I am in an incredible amount of pain. It is still not enough to make me stop quilting or even slow down. If you can heal with rest and not have to get the shots, that would be the best. Use this time to go through quilting magazines and plan your next quilt. Best wishes for quick and complete healing.
