-the smell of impending rain in the spring
-making my bed with sheets that have been dried on my clothesline
-holding my pet bird and stroking his feathers
-sitting on my deck swing watching the squirrels

Watching cool teenage son and his equally cool friends sitting at kitchen table helping little sister colour her pictures with crayons.

Driving along with the sun warming deeply into my ear.

Having a mother/daughter day to celebrate daughter being
cancer free for 3 years

When DH answers the phone and one of our grandsons says"I
need to talk to MaMaw"

That special look shared with DH when no words are nessary

Our small country church and the flags placed in the cemetary today by the children.

The look of surpise on my friends(who in going through chemo)face when she opened the quilt I made for her.
