Seeing my grandchildren. Finishing a quilt and also seeing one that a friend made.

Amen to Jan in VA's braless and barefoot statement.
But...my favorite simple pleasure is walking my dogs!

Swinging in my hammock on a warm breezy day
A leisurely morning with the newspaper
A vase full of Irises
laughing with everyone at the table
A sewing project with no mistakes
Hugs

Hearing the robins, smelling the lilacs and having morning coffee with DH on the porch. And hearing from our DS from Ca.

1.)Having your only children(2 sons) return safely stateside from deployments to hostile areas of the world.
2.)Knowing that I don't have to be 'perfect' or do everything 'perfectly'.That most of the time 'good enough' is GOOD ENOUGH!
3.) A day completely to myself to read,nap,sew/quilt or to sit in a rocking chair & listen to a gentle rain fall or breeze blow. Heaven on earth!!! :-)

A smile from the grand baby.

Having the bobbin thread run out 2 inches after the last seam instead of 2 inches before.
