I laughed out loud at the pic of the horses racing along the path! What a joyful pic, no other word for it! Hope you had a good long soak in the tub after all that work, phew!

Thanks! I feel so blessed to be doing what I do.

I still say that I want to bottle some of your energy for myself!!
I wonder when I'll think I'm getting too old for this?

Just how many feet of snow IS that? I love seeing the pictures of your babies ... and your captions are entertaining. I don't think you're done with snow from what I (think I) heard on the news earlier
Well--it was hard to say with the drifting. The trouble is the drifts form around the fence...which is a problem for me. :| I shoveled between 1-3 ft. About 4" more has fallen since then--so I keep at it. It's so sticky!

Aren't they a riot? :-D No tub for me--too much to do! A cup of tea and some ice cream perks me right up. Then a nice hot shower before bed.

More photos from this yesterday and morning!

When winter gives you wet snow....

    The horses wanted one too!

But when it saw it was born in a pasture--it fainted.

Then the babies needed to keep me company while I cleared the paths...

Me: "Now what are you going to do?" T and M: "NOW what are we going to do?"

Tucker: "This way, Mazie! We'll go back the way we came!" M: "Next time remind me not to follow you everywhere."

Me: "Hey, you two, don't go past that spot. it's deep."

Tucker, "Man, you're not kidding. I'm sinking!"

but look who ran through the deepest drifts anyway!

M: "Tucker, you go first. I'll follow." Tucker: "Of course. I'm a guy. It's what guys do. Have no fear, I'll get us back."

Tucker: "See, we're back. I had everything under control." Mazie and me: rolleyes.

Then they saw the fog and wondered if they had a whole new problem to work out. Me: Never a dull moment. :-)

Oh yeah--from birth to age 4. They are both under foot--at my elbow--into everything I set down. Water container--they chew the spout or knock it down and paw on it. Muck bucket? They stick their heads inside to see if there's food--then chew the handles. Food containers--they bite and toss them. At night, Rosie--the tallest--reaches a lead rope hanging on a nail and pulls it down (I moved it now!) for the foals to play with. They are like having two year olds--I have to baby proof everywhere! :-D

Aww--thanks. Maybe when I retire. 5-10 years.
