We had over 5" come down last night and things are very soggy. (Just outside Norfolk, VA)
Currently at the office but many are working from home due to flooded road ways.

it's raining-at times a nice soft patter on the roof, other times a downpour. we need it terribly! I'm working in the office by myself right now, just had some blueberry toast and making a cup of chai green tea.

Busy day- end of the month and we still will have a closing late today. Looking forward to tomorrow for "clean up" and assessing the files in process. Also interviewing a new employee- there's work to be done and I've maxed everyone out!

have a great day all!

We have bright sunshine here in Michigan. I went to Bible study this AM but when I came home I picked tomatoes. The last of the red ones-most will go into a soup for a gathering Saturday. I also picked all of my green ones which I will can green tomato mincemeat. OHH such a yummy recipe. I pulled up the vines and put them on the compost pile. Now I need to get to canning-but I would rather wait. Terrible!

I washed all my windows. Probably the last time this year it will be nice enough to get outside and do them. Trying to get up from the computer and go and finish up a quilt. The sun is beautiful and warm today.

It`s been a lovely sunny day here in The New Forest in the U.K. My daughter and I went for a long walk in the Forest and checked some of our ponies. The Autumn colours are just beginning.
