Soda Pop is one of the worst things a person can drink. It is probably the cause of the swelling in your ankles and legs, since the entire burden of metabolizing sugar falls on your liver, which creates a number of waste products and toxins, including a large amount of "uric acid", which drives up blood pressure and causes GOUT. Soda Pop has also (because of the high fructose corn syrup) been linked to high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, premature aging, cancer, and gout. It has even been shown to cause DNA damage, because of the common preservative found in soft drinks - sodium benzoate.

I hate to be such a doom and gloom person when it comes to Soda Pop (especially when it can be so refreshing at times), but is it worth risking your health over?

Here's a link for you to check out the fact vs fiction of using hydrogen peroxide.

Actually, it has been proven as FACT that using hydrogen peroxide on tumors/cancerous tumors is beneficial. The treatment is being done in Italy with excellent results. ( I can give you the name of the famous doctor who uses the treatments)

You and me both. All I have to do is look at pop and my feet and legs swell. I have been to the doctor to no avail. Doc told me I am getting old.

Ar far as the uric-acid,funny you said that. My father had gout. He really loved Fried chicken. When it was late or he felt my mom shouldn't have to stand over the stove , he would have me go to Kentucky Fried Chicken and he bought the fixins with it. If my mom cooked hers dad had no gout attack If he ate the colonel's chicken he had big gout attack. I knew several others in my past who also suffered these ,and also continued to eat at the KFC. Accidentally I bought a spice called lemon pepper. One night mom and me fried chicken adding this spice to the flour coating. My dad had a big gout attack. Later I found out Kfc also uses this spice.

My sugar was low and didn't need the pills. Just from drinking these 2 botlles of soda these past 3 days , I find my sugar level elevated, and had to take a pill. My blood pressure is up and had to take my meds. My legs and feet are killing me , so I will take something for pain and the nagging headacheI am now suffering from. This will be the last soda I drink , I felt better without it!

You also might need to check if they use MSG some people have trouble taking that.

You might want to read what the ingredients are. Some of those pre-mixed spices have MSG in them. And sometimes people are allergic to an ingredient that might not be listed. An example would be when a company lists under ingredients, "natural flavors". Well, we do not exactly know what Other type of ingredients are in the actual product. That is a companies sneaky way of adding garbage to a product without actually having to list it.

Now my hubby informed me that there is a food grade hydroperoxide (not sure I spelled right) that you can ingest. I am going to check this out. The couple who told him about it claim they have not had colds, flu and cleared up several health problems since they started taking every day. Supposedly it kills off bad bacteria and stuff in your body and keeps you from getting sick. I asked him to get specifics on how they take so I can do some research on this.
