Cut the top off of large garlic bulbs. Drizzle olive oil onto them.

Set on the grill until softened and browned
Serve with nice french bread. People can scoop garlic out and spread it on the bread.

What about a Quiona salad?
Light, tasty, certainly different than potato salad...
parsely
mint
radishes
red bell pepper
red onion
tomato ( All chopped)
lemon juice and olive oil, kosher salt
Quinoa, cooked & cooled.
Yummy!

For Fathers day we had red pepper humus with Nan bread. Nan is great brushed with olive oil wrapped in foil. Then we placed on the grill for 15 mins to 20 mins. They both where purchased at GFS food supply under 12.

I cut a watermelon into a "basket" and put all kinds of fruit. I try to make sure that I add one can of pineapple with the juice so that it sweetens any berries that need it. This way you do the fixing the day before in the air conditioning and you do not have to wait for something to cook.

What a lot of wonderful ideas and recipes. My thought, How about shishkabobs. I forget about them and keep doing the regular old meats and burgers, but they are a hit everytime. We love them marinaded in teriyaki with peppers and onions and mushrooms.

Try a Waldorf Salad. I always add cranberries, dates and sometimes green grapes. Wonderful refreshing salad.
