Pasta & Ham Salad

Cooked medium sized shell roni
diced ham,
diced swiss cheese
frozen peas

Dressing
Mayo, yellow mustard, pickle relish, and horseradish (not horseradish spread). All according to taste.
Mix together.
Put in fridge to blend the flavors for at least 2 - 4 hours.
The horseradish is what really makes this.
I don't really like a heavy mayo flavor so I do what my mom did to all of her salads. I beat some milk into the mayo before adding the rest.
Sorry I never measure this. Just make in quantities for the # of people expected.
My kids liked this even when they were little.
My husband prefers half cheddar, half swiss.

How about a big pot of chili..

do in a slow cooker and you can have time to relax before the company arrives.......

good crusty bread and a big salad go right along with the hot stuff....

..can't beat it....

Here is a sure winner every time! Whenever I make a big pot of these tasty meatballs they are the hit of the party and there is never anything left. So easy to make.

Cottonboro Farms Meatballs:

1 large bag of small frozen meatballs from Sam’s Club or B J’s.
1 4 lb. Jar of grape Jelly
2 Small bottles of Chili Sauce.

Mix Chili Sauce and Grape Jelly in slow pot until hot. Add meatballs and simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to coat all meatballs.

It is that EASY! Enjoy!

This is what I always make and it's the first thing gone where ever i go. It is a fruit salad: Use one large tub of whipcream (or a smaller one if you want...bigger has more whip taste)...mix in real well a package of jello (regular, not sugar free and dry)..I like the orange.....Add a container of cottage cheese and mix well( I use small curd).... I drain all my fruit very well and even soak it on paper towels(you don't want a lot of juice)....Cut up a whole jar of marachino cherries, a can of mandarin oranges, and put in well drained crushed pineapple. Mix it all in ,voila, you're done.Put in fridge for at least an hour.... WARNING...you will have to make it all the time!!!!!!! Enjoy!...of course this has to be put on ice or kept cold
I make this too. However, since I am diabetic I use sugar free Cool Whip, sugar free orange jello, low fat cottage cheese, mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple. I have made it both ways in the past and can't tell any difference in the taste.

I do this salad too. Everyone loves it and I never take leftovers home.

It is a wonderful salad because it is all veggies, a version of pasta salad without the pasta. I add black beans. I get tired of salads laced in mayo that sat out all day.
I also make this and it is very good.
