Them doing this might be the push you need to get your shop up and running - things happen for a reason!

I talk to the Head Person in my WalMart fabric department , she has been with them for 15-20 years and now they are trying to force her out  Cut her hours down less then part time . Unbelievable what is going on

Apparently you are WM employee and in the fabric dept. I feel for you, but have to say that at least you have some fabric left, or hopefully will. Our huge WM has nearly done away with all crafting and material supplies, down to a fraction of what they used to carry. I really miss it, too. No more $1 a yard specials, limited selection of any fabric, few sewing notions and trims, and we are 90 miles from another fabric store. Apparently WM will phase out all fabric dept in time according to our WM district manager. What a shame. Hope they don't dismantle your dept too badly. Hang in there kiddo.

:( My Boyfriend is a manager at Wm and he hates all the new overnight night jobs they added! He has to go back and fix everything the next morning! :(

They made ours a super Walmart. No fabric and very little sewing notions. I don't care for Walmart anymore.
