Happy Friday everyone!!!

We have had too much rain the past few days to be doing any garden harvesting this w/end, so YAY!! I may actually get in the sewing room...well, after I make a batch or two of salsa with the tomatoes picked earlier in the week. ;)

Yes... lots of rain (for us gardeners) means a day off from those chores!

So rainy days can be a good thing.

Likewise with winter.

Happy Friday!

I am saying TGIF for a different reason but TGIF!
Tonight at midnight when my husband get off work he doesn't have to be back until monday but all next week he has "core training" so he will be working DAYS!!!!! For the first time in six months he will be home for dinner, baths, and bedtime! I might get a LITTLE BIT of a break! Maybe some sewing done, but I actually get more done while he is at work then I do while he is home in the evenings!

Good luck with your salsa and sewing!

Fresh garden tomatoes sound good..Wish I had a small garden.. I am going to plant tomatoes in my flower bed next spring..
It started raining this morning and looks glooming.. so I am going to get in there and sew some bring and cheerful squares.... :D
