oh, i thought you meant leftover fabric from other projects... the Thanksgiving part meaning all the extra time I always cook the turkey carcass and pick the bones for turkey soup. I sent most of the leftovers home with DD's family. Too many leftovers in my fridge is dangerous to me as I have no self control... the 3 pieces of pie were gone the first day [sigh]. It's back to the diet today

Turkey soup. Will also make turkey ala king. Or freeze the leftover meat, if we don't seem to be eating it fast enough.

Turkey enchiladas - that will probably be dinner tonight. We didn't have a lot leftover this time, I got a smaller turkey deliberately!

We love turkey a la king. I could eat dressing and gravy forever but alas its gone. I made potato salad from the mashed potatoes. Usually by the time I start to worry about left overs everyone has snacked and my fridge is empty except for the turkey and extra broth. I'll make some new dressing to go with the a la king and everyone will be happy. Also make another pumpkin pie.

Turkey Tetrazini is the family favorite. My mom always told me to follow a recipe exactly the first time you make it. When I was 12 Mom asked me to make Turkey Tetrazini (first time for the family) for dinner and then left me to it. The recipe literally said, get a small bowl.... get a saucepan.... get a medium bowl.... By the time I finished following the recipe I had used every pot in the kitchen. Now I make tetrazini using one pot, one saucepan and no bowls.

The second night post Thanksgiving is Turkey Barley soup.
