Bless your heart....take a breat and clean up the pins in a few minutes...write yourself a note as a reminder to put the lids back on hte containers and to pick up the pins if you need too....I promise, it will be alright, we've all been there and have made it through...one moment at a time. ((((((hugs)))))

I did the same thing this morning with my big red magnetic pin holder. So much for being magnetic when it flies and hits a wall before hitting the floor.

Its time for a harbor freight order, I have the extended wand magnetic thingy, it picks up pins great. It's called Telescopic magnetic pickup tool. Cheap too.

Go have a cup of tea. I think most folks have done that. I know I have on lots of occasions. That's why I have a magnetic pincusion.

You are in good company here! (and I don't know if any of the rest of us have brain injuries, and we do the same thing!) That magnetic thing sounds like a good thing to have... I should look into that!

I have done that several times. Now I keep a magnet in both my pin boxes, helps some. DH also glued a magnet on the end of a dowel. No more hunting on my knees for lost pins. You are not alone when it comes to dropping pins. Guess who finds them.

I just decided that I didn't need hundreds of pins & only keep about 30 in my pin custion on my cutting table. When I do something like that~ yeah, we all have~ I usually walk away for a bit. When I come back it doesn't seem so bad. That works when I have r-i-p too!

Well; have learned that I WILL NOT be keeping all those pins together...will put a smaller amount into a different container to use.
I went to store and got a magnetic pick up thingy.
Works fairly well and only have some holes in fingers.
Lids are on containers for now.
