The first time I walked into my LQS, I fell in love with a Garden Twist quilt displayed there. Last year they offered a class to make it. I fell in love with this sunflower fabric I found (even though it's not the best for this pattern!) and took the class. As I was quilting it, I kept thinking of my cousin, who has always been the "forgotten child" of her family. As it turned out, this cousin was in town two days after I finished it and I gave it to her. She loved it and couldn't believe that anyone would make something like this for her. My avatar reminds me to spread sunshine.

    This is hilarious!!!
We're the same age, and yesterday as I was driving along with the window down, music cranked and my head bopping it occurred to me to wonder what young people think as granny rolls by groovin' to the Rolling Stones. Forever Young!!!!!!

Wow, that is amazing, what wonderful scenery to watch as you sew, tell him hi for me.

No matter where I sew, Kitty finds a piece of fabric to perch on. Now I have a sewing room & the door remains closed. Poor Kitty!

Oh, and my avatar is a pic of our two dogs, Sally and Dodger. Dodge is 14 and having trouble walking now. He also gets stuck, if he lays down on concrete, he can't get any traction to stand up again. So he barks and barks and we go out and help him. He doesn't seem to be in pain, so we hate to think of putting him down.

It is probably not hard to figure this out, but this is our home we live in. I always wanted a log house and we have been in it for 16 years and love it.
