As a former VFW member; I used to sell the poppies (was a President, VP,Secretary of a local small town chapter), and was always reminded every day what it was like to serve/protect/honor our country as I visited with many veterans and heard their stories (good or bad). Always thought someone should be writing their stories down and letting people know their stories.
Thanks for the reminder .. If you know a veteran .. thank a veteran for making sure our country is still free; not only on Memorial Day; but everyday ..
