Induced labor takes longer to get started because the body isn't ready. But once labor actually starts, then it won't take long. Prayers that everything goes well. I've been in your shoes and hate the waiting too (9 grandkids)

Happened to see the old Steve Martin movie last night where is daughter was pregnant and HIS wife and as it turned out they both delivered the same day at the same hospital. If you haven't seen it you'll probably get some laughs. The daughter kept having false alarms........hope they all do o.k.

Well, I am sure it is even longer for your DIL and DS (laughter). All will be well and going to the hospital might just offer some support and laughter. Give it a thought. If you have a laptop you can take it with you!! Keep us posted.

No, we're not welcoming little Josh yet. And I can't go to hospital until my DS calls. but I'm ok with the waiting at home. I know when he needs our support, he'll call.
yes, I love the name Allen. I names this son after his dad, but my DH wouldn't let me use his 1st name, so picked his 2nd name. I think it's neat that this son picked his middle name for his own son.

Update on baby: Laurie's doctor came back and removed the drip. Tonight, they'll give her something to "speed" her along, also a sleeping pill. Then at 5 am, they'll start checking her again. When doctor arrives, he'll break her water. Then, hopefully, I'll have good news.
