Tool girls offensive or not?

I buy tools because I need them, and don't know or care what kind of advertising they have for that particular tool. Wouldn't care much even if I did see it. I can find lots other things to get my pantyhose in a bind about if I wanted to.

The photo reminds me of the actress Debbie Dunning (Heidi) on the old 'tool time' Home Improvement TV show with Tim Allen. I always thought she looked like Daisy Mae and a bit suggestive but her spot on the show was brief so I wasn't offended.

Clem55 ... I agree, I'm tired of watching Victoria Secret ads on TV ... just last night they replayed the same bra/panty ad over and over. Really, they are just too suggestive, not for the general audience ... not many women can wear those 'undies' so who are they appealing to?

No, not at all. My hubby has those power tool calendars in the garage and barn. I find it nice that he appreciates beauty. I often tell him I hate it when they use my body and not my face on those calendars!
I agree, unless they are doing something obscene with the powr tools, I don't find it offensive.

I may be the odd person out on this, but oh well. We're all different in our views.
This insults and offends my intelligence. All ads like this do, whether male or female. To even mildly suggest that the tools have some merit based on women dressed in clothes too small displaying themselves is ludicrous. Advertise the tool because it's the best on the market, not because they feature the bodies of women. Makes no sense to me.
