We're spending the weekend together. On Saturday night we'll be at my mother's, but I'll do the cooking - herb crusted pork tenderloin, roasted asparagus, some kind of other veggies, salad - my daughter's family currently doesn't eat carbs. My grandsons will make Easter nest cookies - chow mein noodles, butterscotch chips, little candy eggs in the "nest". (Pooey on the no-carb group for dessert!) On Sunday after church we'll go to that daughter's for brunch - she'll do brunchy things but promises dessert/coffee later in the afternoon which will be "positively evil". Hope so!

Hi Twisted, Your Easter dinner sounds like mine, except I make Easter sweet breads (braids with sugar glaze), also. You live very close, I'll join YOU for dinner...LOL

hello everyone............I just love that all the thing in dinner.......maybe we can make a small batch of the salad when you return and they both lost. called "salad" so that if he ate for dinner we
say, "Oh, I just had a salad for dinner." If you're still not convinced that
propose the inclusion of mini marshmallows ... not yet? well, we can add ground beef.

We are going to our local high end Mexican restaurant and having an Easter buffet. You choose the entree and have a big buffet of appetizers and desserts. Yummy.

Our Easter brunch consists of platters loaded with hard boiled eggs, ham, kielbaska, and home made custard cheese. This is a tradition that has been passed down thru the years. I'm 67 and have been going to my grandparents house since I was born. My grandchildren looked forward to going there every year even if they don't like what's on the menu. Of course there are all the goodies and Easter breads plus an egg hunt for everyone.

We will have ham and turkey.. as some do not like ham.. so it will be cheesy taters and mashed. All the entire fixings.. I love to cook huge meals for holidays and for huge crowds... the bigger the better.

Wow, stay home, wear jammies, watch movies, eat jelly beans and chocolate, mmm, add popcorn! Sounds great to me! What a deal, I may propose this plan to my DH and see if we can't just do this. Thanks.

We are having a cookout. Thanksgiving is the meal that's set in stone around here. Christmas and Easter are flexible.
